Apple Crumble
1 can (20 ounces) apple pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1 1/2 sticks of butter, melted
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream topping (optional)
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
Pour the apple pie filling into a baking dish, spreading it evenly at the bottom. If you choose to use pecans, combine them with the cake mix and sprinkle this mixture over the apple filling.
Pour the melted butter over the cake mix layer, ensuring not to stir. If the butter gathers in one area, lift the dish and gently tilt it from side to side to distribute evenly.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Enjoy with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
