This mouthwatering southern-style chicken is incredibly simple to prepare on your pellet grill and is sure to be a hit among your loved ones.
Ingredients:
- 5 pounds of chicken breasts (butterflied and tenderized)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions for Fried Chicken:
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg. Add the evaporated milk and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, paprika, baking powder, chili powder, sea salt, seasoned salt, and black pepper.
- Melt butter in the microwave, then pour it into a shallow metal baking pan large enough to accommodate the chicken pieces.
- Coat the chicken pieces in the egg and milk mixture before rolling them in the flour mixture. Arrange the coated chicken in the metal baking pan.
- Preheat your grill to 375°F and let it stabilize. Cook the chicken for 25 minutes, then lower the temperature to 325°F, flip the chicken pieces over, and continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
