Ingredients:
- 2 cups of milk (can be dairy or non-dairy)
- 3 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
- 1 to 3 tablespoons of your preferred sweetener (adjust according to taste)
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
- 1 cup of strong hot coffee (1/2 cup per serving)
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine the milk, pumpkin puree, and sweetener over medium heat. Warm the mixture until hot, but avoid boiling.
- Take the saucepan off the heat and mix in the vanilla extract and pumpkin pie spice using a whisk.
- Pour your preferred amount of coffee into a mug and add the pumpkin mixture on top.
- Finish it off with a dollop of whipped cream and enjoy!
- The mixture can be refrigerated for up to 4 days and also makes for a delicious iced coffee option!
