Yield: 24 mini bundt cakes
1 box of confetti cake mix
1 stick (1/2 cup) of melted butter
4 large eggs
1 cup of milk
Chocolate Decorations:
1 cup of melting chips in various colors
Silicone molds in festive Easter shapes
1 pouch of pre-made green icing
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and milk. Pour the batter into a greased mini bundt pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow them to cool before removing from the pan.
For the chocolate decorations, melt the melting chips in a microwave-safe bowl at one-minute intervals until completely melted. Transfer the melted chocolate to piping bags and snip the corners. Fill the silicone molds with the melted chocolate and freeze for 15-20 minutes. Once set, pipe the green icing onto the mini bundt cakes to create “grass” before placing the molded chocolate pieces on top.
Tip: For a quicker option, consider using store-bought chocolate shapes like bunnies, eggs, crosses, or marshmallow treats instead of making your own toppers.
