Cheesecake Cookie Cups

Recipe provided by “Cookin’ Savvy”

Servings: 12 cups

2 packages (16 ounces each) of chocolate chip cookie dough

For the Whipping Cream:

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

For the Filling:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar

1 cup heavy whipping cream

Crushed cookies for garnish (optional)

Sprinkles for garnish (optional)

Preheat your oven to 350°F.

In a muffin tin, place three pieces of cookie dough in each cavity. Bake for 15 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then use a shot glass to create an indent in the center of each cookie. Let them cool for an additional 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Using a hand mixer, beat the heavy cream and sugar until it thickens. Then, incorporate the cream cheese and confectioners’ sugar, mixing until smooth. Fill each cooled cookie cup with the mixture.

For added decoration, you may use a piping bag to create a decorative edge around the cups. Finish off by sprinkling with crushed cookies or sprinkles, if you like.
