This mouthwatering southern-style chicken is incredibly simple to prepare on your pellet grill and is sure to be a hit among your loved ones.

Ingredients:

  • 5 pounds of chicken breasts (butterflied and tenderized)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions for Fried Chicken:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk the egg. Add the evaporated milk and mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, paprika, baking powder, chili powder, sea salt, seasoned salt, and black pepper.
  3. Melt butter in the microwave, then pour it into a shallow metal baking pan large enough to accommodate the chicken pieces.
  4. Coat the chicken pieces in the egg and milk mixture before rolling them in the flour mixture. Arrange the coated chicken in the metal baking pan.
  5. Preheat your grill to 375°F and let it stabilize. Cook the chicken for 25 minutes, then lower the temperature to 325°F, flip the chicken pieces over, and continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
