Dutch Baby Pancake

Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • A dash of nutmeg

Instructions:

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, flour, sugar, and nutmeg.
  3. Gradually incorporate the milk, mixing until smooth.
  4. Add the butter to a heavy, oven-safe skillet and place it in the preheated oven. Once the butter has completely melted (being careful not to let it brown), take the skillet out and pour the mixed batter into it.
  5. Return the skillet to the oven.
  6. Bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until the pancake is puffed up around the edges.
  7. Quickly remove it from the oven and dust with powdered sugar or top with your favorite fruits.
