Hot Chocolate Bombs

Ingredients:

  • Chocolate chips (milk, dark, white, or any combination)
  • Hot cocoa mix
  • Optional additions such as mini marshmallows, sprinkles, or toffee bits

Instructions:

  1. Begin by melting your chocolate chips. Place them in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue microwaving in 15-second increments, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted.
  2. Using a spoon, carefully transfer the melted chocolate into your molds, ensuring the chocolate coats the edges smoothly.
  3. Refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened.
  4. Once set, fill each mold about three-quarters full with the hot cocoa mix and any optional ingredients you’d like to include.
  5. Cover the top of the mix with the remaining melted chocolate to create a seal on your bombs. Return the mold to the fridge until the chocolate is solid.
  6. To enjoy, place the bomb in a mug and pour hot milk over it, stirring until it has completely melted.
